WEIDEL REAL ESTATE LAUNCHES NEW BRANDING
Princeton, NJ – As a significant part of celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Weidel Realtors, Richard A. Weidel Jr., President and CEO, unveiled new branding for the brokerage today. The new look centers on a clean, iconic W against Weidel’s signature red with the title ‘Weidel Real Estate’ and the tagline ‘The Way Home … Since 1915. The new images will be used on all communications from signage and print to the website and social media. “We’ve been successful since 1915, but not without keeping flexible and responsive to the many changes and market challenges over the years. Our new branding is designed to showcase our ongoing commitment to integrity and expertise to new generations, and to reflect the importance we place in providing top quality service to each and every client.”
Over four generations the Weidels have nourished an entrepreneurial spirit. Under Richard Weidel Sr, in the 1960s it was one of the first to expand from one office to branches in nearby areas, and to be a founding member of the Mercer County Multiple Listing Service. National affiliations followed in the 1970s, and in the 1980s the addition of Mortgage Banking, Relocation and Real Estate Licensing. Title and General Liability Insurance was added in the 1990s. Today the company is the last independently-owned brokerage in New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania with 12 offices and over 400 agents and brokers. It is a member of Leading Real Estate Companies of the World, a global network which outsells all franchise brands and Luxury Portfolio International for high-end properties, with sales of nearly $10 billion of real estate over the last 15 years.
Mr. Weidel has recently been joined by his son, Richard Weidel III, Director of Business Development, who brings his experience on Wall Street and fresh perspectives, strategies and insights to bear on what has become the increasingly complex world of real estate. “Home buying and marketing begins on the internet now, but at the heart of each successful transaction it comes down to relationships and trust. Our sellers expect the best proactive marketing, our buyers expect the best local knowledge and they both expect negotiation skills and efficient implementation from our agents. Our emphasis on training and technical support is part of our commitment to them as well as to our clients.”
Another new addition to the Weidel team is Dan Fernandez, Director of Creative Services. Dan brings 25 years of branding and art direction experience, and a strong history of reaching marketing goals for national clients.
"From day one, I have been really impressed with this company, particularly the energy, the excitement and the expertise of my colleagues. The best perk of all is the genuine, caring and supportive environment of Weidel. It is my goal to capture this unique culture and package it for our clients and agents” says Fernandez, “The new marketing materials have been carefully considered by our team and by the Weidel family. This combination has delivered a century of success for Weidel Real Estate – from here we will only improve”.
The logo with a horse-drawn sleigh may be cherished history but another tradition of the Weidel corporate family is alive and well. Weidel and its branch managers and agents support many causes and participate in charitable and community events in all of their locations, including about 60 local festivals and fundraisers each year for local and national causes. Mr. Weidel said, “Giving back and doing what we can comes naturally to us and to so many of our agents and brokers. It’s a part of our corporate and family culture I think we all treasure.”
Founded in 1915, the Richard A. Weidel Corporation, a family-owned and operated business, is comprised of a full-service real estate sales organization, a comprehensive mortgage company, an insurance arm offering title and general liability, national relocation services, and a real estate pre-licensing school.
