Weidel Realtors Bring the Farm to the People
Pennington, NJ – Acres of sweet corn grown on the Weidel Family Farm were recently hand-harvested by volunteers from the Weidel Offices to be donated to area shelters and local food banks. It has been the mission of Richard A. Weidel, President, to give something back to those in need, so several years ago he set in motion a plan of “bringing the farm to the people” where acres of sweet corn were raised, hand-picked and delivered to area fire departments, police squads and other municipal staff to thank them for their help in the community.
“The harvest was so greatly appreciated we decided to increase the production and scope of our distribution,” said Mr. Weidel. “This year, we once again partnered withFisherman’s Mark to donate as much as possible and help those facing challenging times.”
Fisherman’s Mark was given a donation of sweet corn personally delivered by Weidel CEO, Richard Weidel and Weidel Vice President, Brenda Maxfield. Fisherman’s Mark was appreciative of the donation because it will help their mission of strengthening the community by helping those in need. Since 1980, Fisherman’s Mark has dedicated their efforts to helping the community and evolving the population with their no turn away policy. Anyone is welcomed into their facility!
